Directions:
Test patch on skin first.
Spread a thin layer on the skin, a little goes a long way.
Re-apply every two hours and after getting out of water (due to rub-off), as recommended by the Cancer Society.
Since zinc oxide forms a physical barrier, not a chemical one, it theoretically works as soon as applied. However, legally the label must say to wait 20 minutes before going into the sun. Staying in the shade is the most effective method of sun protection for people of all ages.
